What is LocalVerse Lens?
LocalVerse Lens is our AI-powered product upload tool. Just take a picture of an item, and it will generate a product listing, including a title, description, tags, and even price suggestions, saving you time uploading into your desired platform.

Anyone! Whether you're a high-street shop owner, a vintage reseller, or just clearing out items at home - Lens makes selling online fast and easy.

What marketplaces does it work with?
We’re currently in version 2 (v2), focused on Shopify and eBay. Future versions will offer more platform integrations into Vinted, Depop, Etsy, Amazon, Woocommerce and more!
How much does it cost?
Lens works on a monthly subscription system. You get 3 free uploads when you sign up. All packages in v2 are half price, starting from £1.99.
Can I try it for free?
Yes! All new users get 3 free uploads to test the tool and see how it fits their workflow.
How accurate is the AI?
It’s great for general item identification and speeds up the process dramatically, but you’ll always have the final say before publishing. Future versions will improve accuracy and include more customisation.
Is my data secure?
Absolutely. We don’t store any personally indentifiable information, all your data is protected and secured by the password you create, and your product listings are private until you choose to publish or export them.
Upload Products
How do I take/upload an image?
Just click the + Add Product button in the top right corner and choose an existing photo(s) or snap new ones. Please ensure the image corresponds with the following formats: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF up to 10MB each.
*How do I get more product uploads?
Click "add credits" in the top right corner and it will prompt you with our monthly subscription options which provide various product upload bundles.
Editing Products
How do I view all product metadata?
After you have uploaded your product image, you will be able to view your completed products in the "Product Catalog". Here, simply click on your product to view all of the metadata that has been generated for your product by navigating through "Overview", "Details" and "SEO".
How do I edit my product?
When you are viewing your product, click "Edit" in the top right corner. From here, you will see editable boxes in which you can change the metadata as required. Once you are happy with your edits, simply click "Save Changes" in the top right corner.
How do I bulk edit?
When you are in the "Product Catalog", click "Select All" in the top right corner. Here, all of your products will be selected. Then click the "Edit" button at the top to change metadata within the product cards below. Once you are happy with your changes, click "Save All" at the top (The number in this button corresponds to the amount of products you have selected).
How do I remove the background from an image?
When you are viewing your product, hover over the the product image and click "Remove Background" in the top left corner of the image. This will generate a new image with the background removed. You can view the result just below the large image of your product. This is ideal for producing e-commerce ready images!
How do I add product variants?
Unfortunately, adding product variants is unavailable in LocalVerse Lens v2. However, they are still quick and easy to add manually within Shopify and eBay!
How do I delete a product?
Simply hover over the product you want to delete in the "Product Catalog" and click the "Delete" button. You will then be asked if you are sure you want to delete the selected product and if so, you can confirm.
Exporting Products
How do I link my Shopify account?
Navigate to settings by clicking your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you are in settings, navigate to "integrations". Here, you can enter your Shopify store domain, press "Connect to Shopify" and you will then be taken to Shopify to link your account. Once completed, you will see that your Shopify store is connected to LocalVerse Lens.
How do I link my eBay account?
Navigate to settings by clicking your profile icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you are in settings, navigate to "integrations". Here, you can press "Connect to eBay" and you will then be taken to eBay to link your account. Once completed, you will see that your eBay account is connected to LocalVerse Lens.
How do I export to Shopify?
In the "Product Catalog", either "Select all" in the top right corner (if you want to export all your products) or click the box in the top left corner of the individual products (if you want to export a specific selection). Click "Export" at the top and you will be prompted to export to Shopify. You can then go to your products in Shopify and view the listing there!
How do I export to eBay?
In the "Product Catalog", either "Select all" in the top right corner (if you want to export all your products) or click the box in the top left corner of the individual products (if you want to export a specific selection). Click "Export" at the top and you will be prompted to export to eBay. You can then go to your products in eBay and view the fully listed product there!
How do I export raw metadata?
In the "Product Catalog", either "Select all" in the top right corner (if you want to export all your products) or click the box in the top left corner of the individual products (if you want to export a specific selection). Click "Export" at the top and you will be prompted to "Download CSV" or "Download JSON". This is particularly useful if you want to upload into alternate marketplaces!
Refer a Friend
*How do I use a referral code?
Enter the code you received upon sign-up or click the referral link you received to register the referral.

Navigate to your profile icon in the top right corner and click "referrals". Here you will find a referral code or referral link. These can be sent to someone interested in LocalVerse Lens and they will simply need to enter the code when prompted on sign-up or click the referral link. When they have done so, your referrals will be tallied below under "referral statistics" and you will earn rewards based off of this!
